WebSight Design, Inc. ("WebSight Design," "we," "us," or "our") operates the AI Brand Visibility Audit service at visibility.websightdesign.ai. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the service:

  • Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account or sign up for a plan
  • Brand information: Brand name, city and state, industry, and website URL you submit for auditing
  • Payment information: Billing details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features accessed, and interactions with your portal and reports
  • Communications: Any messages you send to us by email or through the service

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver audit reports, portal access, and subscription services you have purchased
  • Send transactional emails including audit notifications, password setup links, and billing confirmations
  • Communicate with you about your account, plan changes, or service updates
  • Improve the accuracy and relevance of our audit methodology
  • Detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the service
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We share data with vendors who help us operate the service, including Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email delivery), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data
  • AI platforms: Your brand name, location, and industry are included in queries sent to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity as part of the audit process. No personal contact information is included in these queries
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of WebSight Design or others
  • Business transfers: If WebSight Design is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and brand information for as long as your subscription is active. Audit reports and portal data are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days following cancellation. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the service and understand how it is used. We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated usage data. You can decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner displayed on our marketing pages. Declining does not affect your ability to use the service.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@websightdesign.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party platforms including Stripe, SendGrid, and the AI platforms used for auditing. Each has its own privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies:
